Unarmed Security Guard

Requirements

• MUST have a CURRENT BSIS Guard Card.
• Must have following gear: Duty belt, Baton (with permit), OC spray (with permit), and/or Taser, Hand Cuffs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security checks and patrols within the building.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms.
• Ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are secured.
• Respond promptly to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Aid with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain detailed records of all incidents, activities, and observations.
• Perform foot patrol and/or vehicle patrol.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established protocols.
• Must possess a current valid Driver's License and may be required to submit a copy of their driving records.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Compensation

• Weekly Pay (every Thursday).
• Training and Development.
• Health insurance.
• Pay rate: $17-19.
