Unarmed Security Guard

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security checks and patrols within the building/premises.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms.
• Ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are secured.
• Respond promptly to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Auxiliary duties include assisting with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain detailed records of all incidents, activities, and observations.
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols, using a golf cart as the primary vehicle.

Physical Requirements

• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established protocols.
• B.S.I.S. Guard Card is required.
• Baton, Taser, and OC Spray are desired.
• Duty Belt and/or Handcuffs (1, recommended 2) are desired.
• Vehicles may change depending on client circumstances. Golf Cart and/or Patrol vehicles will be used at the site.
• Valid and current Driver's License is necessary due to the possibility of vehicle change.
• Previous experience in access control, security, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately verify identification and credentials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during high-traffic or emergency situations.
• Basic proficiency in using computers and access control systems/software.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform occasional lifting or carrying of equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Weekly Pay (every Thursday)
