Full-time position in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Provide security services to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, observations, and actions taken
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
Requirements
- Must be comfortable standing for the entire shift
- Suit and tie dress code
- Must specify years of suit and tie security experience in application email
- Must indicate preferred shift in email subject line
- Possess a valid security guard certificate or be willing to obtain one
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
Skills
- Customer service
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday (part-time): 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
