APS is seeking dedicated Unarmed Security Guards to meet our clients’ high demands and expectations. Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of the assigned site or post and ensure post orders are followed as written and trained
• Follow established protocols, respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Collaborate effectively with law enforcement and other security personnel to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Make immediate emergency notifications as necessary when confronted with credible information
• Maintain a command presence while appearing on post in accordance with uniform and PPE standards (as needed for individual assignment)
• Remain knowledgeable of security orders, directives, and procedures at all times
• Provide directions or guidance as necessary
• Perform other related duties, as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in English (written or oral) as well as speak and comprehend English without translation
• Must be neat, well-groomed, and present a professional appearance
• Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Security Guard License (AZDPS Security Guard Form Triage)
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk up to 10 hours, and lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs
• Reliably commute to client sites located within 30 minutes of your home address

Schedule

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available with Day, Swing, and Night shifts. This role will remain open until filled with ideal candidates.
