About the role

As an Armed Security Officer at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc., you will be part of a highly trained security team supporting critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues requiring an enhanced presence, and providing personal protective services.

Responsibilities

• Support critical facilities and infrastructure with a focus on high-value people and assets.
• Enhance security presence in public venues as needed.
• Provide personal protective services as required.
• Train by our team of highly qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of (3) years of prior peace officer experience from a Federal, state, county, or local law enforcement agency AND completion of Peace officer Standards and Training (POST) academy, OR completion of a Federal state, county, or local law enforcement training academy with a verifiable certificate or transcript.
• Valid California State Guard card.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Baton certification.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write, and converse clearly in English.
• Satisfactory completion of initial drug test and criminal background check.
