About the role
Cascadia Global Security (CGS) is a veteran‑owned, nationwide security company based in the Pacific Northwest. We are rapidly expanding and seeking Security Specialists in Hoffman Estates, IL. Our team includes active‑duty military, veterans, and civilians looking for upward mobility, training, and promotion opportunities. The position involves unarmed, armed, surveillance, and mobile patrol duties, offering some of the highest pay rates and industry‑leading benefits.
Responsibilities
- Access control
- Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
- Patrol on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activities at client facilities
- Provide visual deterrence against theft and vandalism
- Ensure a safe and professional work environment for the client, its associates, and facility personnel
- Maintain concise and complete daily administrative documentation
- Adhere to uniform attire and grooming standards while on duty
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Active, unarmed security license (required)
- Basic computer skills and report‑writing experience
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, DMV background check, and drug screening
- Availability to work mornings, swing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies
- Preferred: 1 year customer service experience
- Preferred: 1 year security experience
Pay and Benefits
- $19.00 per hour with daily pay (next‑day payment)

Wednesday 3:00 pm – 5:30 am; Saturday‑Sunday 5:30 pm – 5:30 am.

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL 60192. Full‑time position. Uses a company vehicle. All applicants must be over 21, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a DMV background check and drug screening.
