About the role
Cascadia Global Security (CGS) is a veteran-owned, nationwide security company based in the Pacific Northwest. We are growing rapidly and need Security Officers to join our team. Our Security Specialists include active-duty military personnel, veterans, and civilians looking for a job with upward mobility and employee-centered management. We provide and pay for all licensing and training.
Responsibilities
- Access Control
- Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activities at client facilities
- Theft and vandalism deterrence
- Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
- Maintain concise and complete daily administrative documentation
- Adhere to uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
- Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- 1 year of customer service experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of security experience (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Active Guard Card (Required)
Pay
$23 per hour with daily pay option—get paid as soon as the next day. Bi-weekly pay is guaranteed.
Schedule
- Sunday - Tuesday 5 pm - 5 am + Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm
- Wednesday 11 pm - 5 am + Thursday - Saturday 5 pm - 5 am
- Saturday & Sunday 5 am - 5 pm
