As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Driver in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will operate a vehicle to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, policy violations, hazards, and unusual activity to appropriate store personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and customer assistance as directed by location procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
