Unarmed F03/F04 Fireguards for Special Events

About the role

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced F-03, F-04 Fireguards / Security Officers in the New York City area for Special Events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks
• Crowd management, including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees
• Follow access control procedures as directed
• Maintain exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Make periodic tours to check for irregularities
• Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Hold a valid F-03 and F-04 Certificate of Fitness (FDNY)
• Available to work weekends
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Able to verbally de-escalate situations
• Reliable transportation
• Able to understand and communicate in both English and Spanish
• Professional, discreet security services for VIP clients
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding VIP clients' identities, schedules, and personal information
• Monitor access points and screen visitors to prevent unauthorized contact with VIP clients
• Respond swiftly and calmly to security incidents, de-escalating situations with minimal disruption to the client

Qualifications

• Entry High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Security or related experience or college level education can be substituted for work experience
