About the role
The University of Minnesota is offering a funded, one-year Lung Transplant Fellowship from July to June. This position combines clinical practice and research, with a dual appointment with University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians).
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive clinical exposure through inpatient rotations on solid organ transplant (SOT)
- Individualized program structure tailored to align with the trainee's interests and background
- Elective rotations with other transplant service lines (immunology, pathology, transplant infectious disease)
- Opportunities for translational and clinical research as well as quality improvement projects
- Supportive training environment with mentorship from the program director and faculty
- Competitive salary
- Opportunity to present and network at national and/or international conferences
Requirements
- Participation with intention of completion in an ACGME-accredited general pulmonary and critical care fellowship
- Board eligible or certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a MN medical license
