RN Quality Coordinator Lung Transplant
Job Summary
The RN Quality Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and advancing the Lung Transplant Program's quality infrastructure. This role serves as the operational lead for quality, regulatory readiness, and performance monitoring, ensuring the program maintains compliance with CMS, OPTN/UNOS, SRTR, and organizational standards while driving ongoing quality improvement across the transplant continuum.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare degree required.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit, which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field.
- Preferred Experience: Quality Management, regulatory compliance, or TQM/CQI.
- Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations: Preferred: CPHQ certification.
