Job Summary (Purpose and Function)
The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Miami School of Medicine seeks a Clinical Staff Fellow. Key responsibilities include extensive direct patient care, night and weekend on-call duties, and assisting in the training of residents through the Ophthalmic Training Program. The ideal candidate must excel in teaching and be prepared to take on administrative responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications (Essential Requirements)
- M.D. or D.O Degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program
- State of Florida Medical Licensure
- DEA Certification

Qualifications
Candidates should have an M.D. degree and completed an accredited residency-training program in ophthalmology in the U.S. They must also be board certified or board eligible and hold a valid and unrestricted State of Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate.
