About the role

The Chief CRNA will lead and support the anesthesia team at The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. This is a full-time, W2 employee opportunity with generous compensation, excellent benefits, and leadership growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the anesthesia department in providing high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage the anesthesia schedule and ensure coverage during call periods
• Provide mentorship and guidance to CRNAs and other anesthesia providers
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Current certification as a CRNA
• At least 5 years of experience in an academic or community hospital setting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Experience with anesthesia equipment and techniques
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
• Ability to manage a busy schedule and handle multiple priorities

Pay

Base salary up to $300,000 per year plus a leadership stipend of $75,000
