Ultrasound Technologist - ProHealth Care - PRN/Pool

About the role

ProHealth Care is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This is a part-time, on-call position involving ultrasound procedures, primarily on weekdays from 5pm-7am and every fifth weekend. On-call responsibilities include handling up to two holidays per year.

Responsibilities

- Produce high-quality ultrasounds on patients of all ages, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proficiency in using ultrasound systems, PACS, and other computer software. - Show clinical competency in all aspects of ultrasound, including invasive procedures. - Provide a patient-centered experience focused on service excellence and safety.

Requirements

- ARDMS certification in Abdomen and Vascular. New graduates must have ARDMS certification in Abdomen. - Successfully obtain ARDMS certification in OB/GYN and Vascular within one year of hire. - Maintain all necessary continuing education requirements for ARDMS. - Hold a valid CPR certification. - Have a sound understanding of anatomical and physiological concepts. - Possess excellent communication skills. - Meet all required competencies within six months of hire. - Demonstrate respect, tact, courtesy, and patience when interacting with colleagues.
