Ultrasound Technologist - PRN

About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsible for developing and implementing ultrasound procedure plans, utilizing appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results. Ensures accurate documentation, maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner, and participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards. Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards.
• Develop and implement ultrasound procedure plans using appropriate techniques and positioning.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and results.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.

Requirements

• Recent ultrasound technologist experience preferred.
• Must be registered with ARDMS or RVT, or a new graduate awaiting registry, with proof available within 120 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills required.
