Ultrasound Technologist - PRN

Role: Ultrasound Technologist responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases or conditions, including vascular exams. Key Duties: Evaluate patients, explain procedures, ensure comfort and safety, obtain and document images, and relay findings to physicians. Participate in quality improvement, education, and departmental audits. Qualifications: Graduate of an ultrasonography program with ARDMS or ARRT certification, with preferred experience of 1 year. Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, independent work ability, adaptability, and customer service orientation. Knowledge of ultrasound modalities, anatomy, and medical record systems preferred. Additional Requirements: Proficiency in ultrasound technology, clinical competency across age groups, and adherence to ethical standards. Training & Certifications: Certification in ultrasound, with advanced modality registration preferred or to be obtained within 2 years.
