Ultrasound Technologist - Pittsburgh PA

About the role

We currently have a need for PRNs that can work occasional weekdays in the greater Pittsburgh area and a PRN for occasional days in the Hempfield area. Roshal Health was founded over 20 years ago by a Diagnostic Imaging Professional who wanted to create a company with both the patient and the Technologist in mind, providing more time for our patients and a better work/life balance for our Technologists. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
• Current ARDMS certification — RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
• Valid Driver’s License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures
• Communicate compassionately & professionally with patients
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
• Communicate professionally & effectively with hospital staff & colleagues
• Use necessary technical equipment in diagnostic modality
• Complete additional tasks as needed
