Ultrasound Technologist - Part Time, Night

About the role

This position involves independently performing diagnostic ultrasound scans across diverse patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. In the Breast Center, the technician performs breast ultrasound scans independently. All procedures are conducted under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
• Operate ultrasound equipment effectively for various patient groups and specific areas such as breast imaging.
• Ensure quality imaging for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists for procedure oversight and interpretation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, two-year technical program, or equivalent education and experience.
• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) at hiring.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Skills

• Preferred: ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB.
• Preferred: Prior ultrasound experience.
• Preferred: Specialized training for breast imaging.
