Overview Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures, providing patient care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, ensuring accurate imaging and effective communication with staff and radiologists. Responsibilities Conducts ultrasound exams and invasive procedures following established standards. Delivers patient services utilizing ultrasound technology and maintains clear communication with team members and radiologists. Qualifications Graduate of an approved CAAHEP or ARRT Sonography ProgramNo experience required; 1 year preferredRequires BCLS certification upon hireMust obtain ARDMS registration within 6 months of employmentVascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within 6 monthsBreast Sonography licensure through ARRT (BS) requiredVascular Technologists (RVT, RVS) preferred
