About the Role
Perform diagnostic medical sonographic exams, assist physicians as needed, and carry out related duties under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Support physicians during diagnostic exams.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program or equivalent experience.
- Eligibility to take ARDMS registry examination; obtain ARDMS certification within one year of hire.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years ultrasound technologist experience.
Skills
- Strong technical skills in sonography.
- Ability to collaborate with medical staff and support patient care.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
