Ultrasound Technologist - OBGYN

Summary

The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations under physician supervision to identify abnormalities and support patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ARDMS certification.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform high‑quality ultrasound exams according to protocol.
• Review images for adequacy and completeness.
• Ensure timely completion of studies.
• Assist and instruct students and staff.
• Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort.
• Practice infection control and follow safety procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment accurately.
• Keep detailed records and follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• ARDMS‑registered with competency in the relevant modality.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Preferably one year or more ultrasound experience with OBGYN credentials, or the ability to obtain them.

Location & Schedule

Based in a clinic setting in Orem, Utah, with no call, weekends, or holidays, and opportunities for additional shifts.
