Ultrasound Technologist - OBGYN

Job Summary The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations under physician supervision to identify abnormalities and support patient diagnosis. Key Responsibilities: Maintains ARDMS certification, prepares patients, performs high-quality exams per protocol, reviews images, and ensures timely completion. Assists and instructs students and staff, provides patient education, ensures comfort, and practices infection control. Operates imaging equipment accurately and keeps detailed records, following protocols for medical necessity, coding, and quality assurance. Qualifications: Must be ARDMS-registered with competency in relevant modality, hold BCLS certification, and preferably have one year or more ultrasound experience with OBGYN credentials or the ability to obtain them. Skills: Following protocols, equipment operation, patient identification, documentation, customer service, teamwork, effective communication, and emergency response. Physical Requirements: Ability to read labels, operate monitors, assist with patient transfers, navigate busy rooms, and stand for extended periods. Location & Schedule: Based in a clinic setting in Orem, Utah, with no call, weekends, or holidays, and opportunities for additional shifts.
