About the Role

The Ultrasound Technologist performs independent ultrasound procedures, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles to assist in diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently
• Apply ultrasound technology for patient diagnosis
• Execute various technical procedures with judgment and ingenuity
• Promote teamwork and reflect the organization’s mission and values

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited education program meeting ARDMS prerequisites
• National Registered Technologist - Sonography or certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting with OB procedures such as CVS, PUBS, and amniocentesis
• Experience with electronic medical records like Epic
