Ultrasound Technologist

Role Overview: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations under physician supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging for patient diagnosis. Key Responsibilities: Maintain ARDMS certification, prepare patients, perform and review ultrasound exams, instruct students and staff, ensure patient comfort and safety, operate and troubleshoot equipment, document procedures accurately, follow infection control protocols, and manage records and reporting. Qualifications & Skills: ARDMS registration, BLS certification, ultrasound experience, technical proficiency, effective communication, patient care, teamwork, and knowledge of advanced ultrasound techniques. Physical Demands: Visual acuity, manual dexterity, mobility to transfer patients and handle equipment, and ability to stand for extended periods.
