Ultrasound Technologist Lead

About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases. Supports safe patient care and maintains high-quality exam and treatment standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow, quality exams, and patient satisfaction.
• Applies thorough knowledge of radiologic principles and selects appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Documents procedures accurately to comply with policies.
• Maintains equipment, work areas, and procedure rooms in a safe and clean condition.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.
• Completes assigned goals effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in an acute care setting or comparable specialty area.
• Registered by ARDMS and/or RVT.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
