Ultrasound Technologist Intern

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality ultrasound images across all age groups, demonstrating expertise in cross-sectional anatomy.
• Operate ultrasound systems, PACS, and related software following established procedures.
• Exhibit clinical competency in all aspects of ultrasound, including invasive procedures.
• Prioritize patient safety and service excellence.

Requirements

• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen, and Vascular; new graduates must initially hold Abdomen certification.
• Certifications in OB/GYN and Vascular to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain ongoing continuing education and CPR certification.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Achieve all necessary competencies within six months of hire.
• Ability to interact respectfully and courteously with peers.
