About the role
The Ultrasound Technologist operates imaging equipment, primarily ultrasound devices, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and software to produce high-quality images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
- Maintain high imaging standards and adhere to safety protocols.
- Float between designated facilities, providing flexible support.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Sonography program with clinical hours completed.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Certification through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI; BLS certification preferred.
- State licensure may be required based on location.
