Ultrasound Technologist - GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN

About the role

The Gig Ultrasound Technologist operates imaging equipment, primarily ultrasound devices, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will float between facilities, maintain technical expertise, and work with a compassionate, innovative team committed to delivering exceptional healthcare through advanced technology and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and provide effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain imaging standards and support diagnostic processes.
• Provide patient care during imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program with completed clinical hours.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification from ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.
• BLS certification and state licensure may be required.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, particularly ultrasound devices.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
