Ultrasound Technologist - General/Breast (Float)

About the role

Ultrasound Technologist General/Breast – Float in Suffolk County, NY. 4/10 hour shifts, Monday, Wednesday–Friday (between 7:30 am–6:00 pm), RDO Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac, gyn/small parts, as well as breast (screening, diagnostic, procedural)
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
• RDMS Breast required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
