Job Description
- General/Breast - Float
- Location: Suffolk County, NY
- Hours/Shifts: 4/10 hour shifts, Mon, Wed-Fri (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Tuesday
- Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams: including general, vascular, cardiac, gyn/small parts, as well as breast (screening, diagnostic, procedural)
- Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
- Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
- Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
- RDMS Breast required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
