Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

The Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician, explaining procedures to the patients, keeping record of a patient’s medical history and determining whether the images are good enough for diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician
• Explain procedures to the patients
• Keep record of a patient’s medical history
• Determine whether the images are good enough for diagnosis

Requirements

• RDMSCertified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience: One year preferred, ECHO experience is a plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist
