Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and support patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and prepare patients for procedures
• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images
• Document procedures and adhere to safety protocols
• Support and train team members and students
• Educate patients about procedures and care
• Maintain certification and competency in specific ultrasound modalities
• Adapt to changing conditions, troubleshoot issues, and respond to emergencies

Requirements

• Registered with ARDMS in a relevant modality (excluding physics)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Proficiency in ultrasound imaging, patient care, equipment operation, and documentation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience or cross-training in specialties
• Additional certifications such as IV

Physical and Other Requirements

• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and physical stamina for patient handling and equipment operation
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients
• Capability to navigate busy environments and stand for extended periods
