Responsibilities
- Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
- Aid radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
- Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
- Maintain patient well-being during exams; recognize and address patient discomfort or medical problems.
- Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Behave professionally and respectfully toward patients, guests, and colleagues.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
- Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
- Passed SPI exam.
- Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
- BLS certification required.

Pay
Pay Range: $24.00 – $36.00 per hour
