Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ultrasound studies according to protocols and physician orders.
- Produce clear, diagnostically useful images and optimize settings as needed.
- Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and explain procedures.
- Document findings and complete required measurements and annotations.
- Assist radiologists with procedures and provide real-time imaging support.
- Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and exam rooms.
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and department policies.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Must-Haves
- ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist and/or Registered in Ultrasound (RDMS), or registry eligible in Ultrasound.
- One or more years of experience in general ultrasound.
- Current BCLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in additional modalities such as vascular, OB/GYN, or small parts.
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
Schedule and Pay
Full-time position with variable shifts based on department needs. May include occasional call, evenings, or weekends. Competitive pay and benefits offered by the employer.
