Responsibilities

• Involved in the day-to-day operations of the Ultrasound Department within Diagnostic Imaging.
• Performs diagnostic medical sonograms (both general and vascular).
• Provides quality patient care.
• Affords responsibility for all ultrasound services offered.
• Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographers, managers, radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Affords assistance to the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives.
• For Senior Ultrasound Technologist: Performs basic and complex general and vascular ultrasound exams and procedures, providing optimal assessment and diagnostic exams for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Ultrasound Technologist:
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience.
• Shift Details: 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE), Day Shift 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Day Shift 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE), Night Shift
• Salary Range: Min: $33.24 Max: $52.61
• Senior Ultrasound Technologist:
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience.
• Shift Details: 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Evening Shift
• Salary Range: Min: $35.26 Max: $55.82

Qualifications
