Senior Ultrasound Technologist
About the Role
Performs a variety of sonographic examinations dealing with OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts. Responsibilities include assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures, performing abdominal Doppler studies of the liver and liver transplants, Nuchal Translucency studies, and neonatal cranial exams. One additional certification (e.g., Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal Translucency, or Neonatal specialty) is required for sonographer 2 status.
Makes clinical judgments of the patient's condition based on information from the referring physician, medical records, patient interviews, and personal assessments.

Responsibilities
- Perform sonographic examinations in OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts
- Assist radiologists during invasive procedures
- Conduct abdominal Doppler studies of the liver and liver transplants
- Perform Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams
- Make clinical judgments based on patient assessments and medical records
Requirements
- Successful completion of an Ultrasound training program
- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements for the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- 2 years of experience as a sonographer
- One additional certification (e.g., Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal Translucency, or Neonatal specialty) for sonographer 2 status

Pay
Pay range: $57.99 - $88.99 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Per-Diem, variable shifts.
