Job Summary
National Park Medical Center is seeking a Sonographer to join our team in Hot Springs, AR. This position offers flexible scheduling including rotating call.
About the Role
This role involves providing quality ultrasound studies for various body parts under the supervision of radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality ultrasound studies for abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvis, breast, and testicular small parts
- Work closely with radiologists to aid in the diagnosis of patient illnesses
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program
- ARDMS or ARRT(DMS) certification (or eligibility)
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
