Join our team as a day shift, full-time Ultrasound Technologist in Amarillo, TX. At BSA Hospital—a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years—you’ll provide quality healthcare in a Christian environment of love, service, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonography equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body and perform related technical functions using ultrasound imaging principles.
• Demonstrate technical skills necessary to provide outstanding image quality for abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and pediatric ultrasounds.
• Exhibit knowledge and skills for providing imaging guidance during invasive procedures.
• Perform imaging in accordance with recommended safe patient practices.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Provide safe patient care and excellent customer service to all patient populations.
• Apply critical thinking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and intra- and inter-departmental teams.
• Additional responsibilities as designated by the Diagnostic Imaging leadership team.

Requirements

• ARRT (R) or ARDMS certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of related experience.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
