About the role

Performs Ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and/or Ultrasound Lead Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed sound waves for radiologic diagnosis or intervention.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound school or equivalent.
• ARDMS: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
• Urology experience preferred.
