About the Role
INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a committed caregiver to join our team as a PRN ultrasound professional. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
Responsibilities
- Performs general ultrasound procedures, including 2D, pulsed wave Doppler, and color flow Doppler evaluations on the upper and lower extremities for both arterial and venous systems, as well as visceral vascular and carotid imaging.
- Reviews in-patient requisitions and prioritizes patient lists based on severity of illness, special procedures, requests, and equipment availability; revises schedules as new procedures are requested or circumstances change.
- Develops film via automatic processing in a timely manner; manipulates laser printers and processors to ensure the highest quality images.
- Performs daily quality control checks on processors and generates a monthly report summarizing results.
- Manages procurement, storage, and routing of supplies for room preparation.
- Ensures reusable instruments are delivered to the appropriate department for sterilization.
- For Echocardiographers: Performs echocardiography on adults and pediatric patients, as well as peripheral vascular procedures.
Requirements
- ARDMS-RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or ARDMS-RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or ARDMS-RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies (preferred for Lakeside Women’s Hospital roles).
- Bachelor’s degree.
