Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound exams with patient prep and safety protocols.
- Uphold patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
- Document findings clearly and accurately in patient records.
- Maintain equipment and ensure calibration and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and determine next steps.
- Communicate progress and outcomes to supervisors using defined pipelines.
- Proactively seek merit-based opportunities and take ownership of personal targets.
- Manage daily workflow to meet targets and maximize throughput.
- Demonstrate continuous learning through professional development activities.
- Adhere to contract terms and on-site work schedule, with reliable attendance.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
- Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Certification as an ultrasound technologist (ARDMS or equivalent).
- Experience performing general ultrasound exams with patient prep and safety protocols.
- HIPAA privacy and confidentiality knowledge and compliant handling of records.
- Accurate documentation of findings in patient records and reporting to physicians.
- Proactive equipment maintenance, calibration, and infection control standards.
- Ability to collaborate with physicians and interpret results for next steps.
- Strong communication to update supervisors via defined pipelines and dashboards.
