Ultrasound Tech - First Call Staffing, Internal Agency

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program, or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
• Required Work Experience: 2 years of work experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Required Licenses and Certifications: Registered by the ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT; Vascular Sonographer- registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS); Breast Ultrasound- Licensure requirement can be met with registration through ARRT (BS).
• Required Certifications: BLS certified.
