Duties and Responsibilities

  • Congducting ultrasound tests to capture cardiac images for diagnostic purposes
  • Preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process to them
  • Ensuring all equipment is in working order and properly maintained
  • Collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals on treatment plans
  • Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
  • Staying current on industry developments and best practices to continually improve patient care

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography, demonstrated proficiency in cardiac ultrasound procedures and techniques
  • Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac ultrasound procedures and techniques, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask
