Duties and Responsibilities
- Congducting ultrasound tests to capture cardiac images for diagnostic purposes
- Preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process to them
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order and properly maintained
- Collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals on treatment plans
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
- Staying current on industry developments and best practices to continually improve patient care
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography, demonstrated proficiency in cardiac ultrasound procedures and techniques
- Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac ultrasound procedures and techniques, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask
