About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging, including breast, abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical studies, primarily for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, independently conducting ultrasound procedures, and documenting results accurately. The candidate may also assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages, and perform vascular imaging as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging (breast, abdominal, small parts, obstetrical)
- Ensure equipment readiness and proper function
- Independently conduct ultrasound procedures and document results accurately
- Assist with needle procedures (biopsies, drainages) as needed
- Perform vascular imaging when required
- Conduct portable and on-call exams
- Maintain compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- RDMS or equivalent certification
- Associate degree or trade school training
Qualifications
- Preferred experience with breast sonography, mammography, and x-ray imaging
- CPR and RDCS or equivalent certifications are desirable
- Less than 2 years of experience preferred
