Ultrasonographer - Per Diem

About the Role

This role involves performing diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography within a healthcare setting, working collaboratively with a team of providers and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations according to established policies.
• Report to a radiology or ultrasound coordinator.
• Obtain certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer within one year if hired as a general sonographer.
• Per diem staff are encouraged but not required to obtain certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited sonographic program.
• ARDMS certification.
• At least 2+ years of ultrasound experience.
• CEU documentation for certification is required.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be needed based on specialty.

• Ability to perform tests independently.

Pay

Hourly pay ranges from $28.94 to $51.63, based on factors like experience and certifications.
