About the Role
This role involves performing diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography within a healthcare setting, working collaboratively with a team of providers and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations according to established policies.
- Report to a radiology or ultrasound coordinator.
- Obtain certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer within one year if hired as a general sonographer.
- Per diem staff are encouraged but not required to obtain certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited sonographic program.
- ARDMS certification.
- At least 2+ years of ultrasound experience.
- CEU documentation for certification is required.
- BLS certification; ACLS may be needed based on specialty.

- Ability to perform tests independently.
- Work proactively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Pay
Hourly pay ranges from $28.94 to $51.63, based on factors like experience and certifications.
