Ultrasonographer Part Time Evenings

Scope to work under site designate leader, performing accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams according to established policies and procedures. Utilizes appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Demonstrates good clinical skills and provides the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required associate's degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal experience as gained at student level.
• Required certifications (one of the following):
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC American Red Cross (upon hire).
  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS (excluding Cardiac) (1 year).
  • CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS (excluding Cardiac, General, Vascular) (1 year).
  • CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS (excluding Cardiac, Vascular) (1 year).
  • CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS (excluding Cardiac, Vascular) (1 year).
  • CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS (Cardiac) (1 year).
  • CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) - Cardiac (1 year).
  • CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS (within 1 year of hire for Vascular Department).
