About the role
The Ultrasonic Inspector (Level II UT, ET) is responsible for inspecting aircraft structures using ultrasonic testing methods to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic inspections on aircraft components to identify defects and ensure structural integrity.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues related to inspection results.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasonic testing or similar inspection role.
- Knowledge of FAA and industry-specific inspection standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in using ultrasonic testing equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel to various locations.
