Ultra sonographer

Essential Functions

• Perform/produce quality Pelvic, OB, TV, Thyroid, Abdominal, Scrotal, Renal, aorta, and Breast ultrasound exams as well as radiography exams
• Scan all necessary documents into the appropriate database for interpretation by the radiologist
• Perform examinations in a safe and proper manner with all patients and practice radiation safety to patients, self, and others
• Operate other pertinent equipment in the radiology department such as computers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and printer
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Radiology and the Chief Medical Officer

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Must have received a Certificate of completion from an Allied Health Education (AMA) accredited radiography abdominal and ob/gyn ultrasound program which meets the certification requirements of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Experience: 1·2 years of experience in radiology performing abdominal, routine ob/gyn, and breast ultrasound radiological exams
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have excellent oral/written communication skills
• Transportation Requirement: Must have Reliable Transportation

Additional Information

Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
