Ukrainian Interpreter

About the role

We are seeking fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients, with an immediate need for Ukrainian interpreters in the Lincoln area.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation services for local clients.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Use an online portal for printing and uploading vouchers.

Requirements

• Fully bilingual in English and the target language.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Must have transportation to attend appointments locally.
• Technical skills for learning and using an online portal.
• Must have access to a printer.
• Background checks and drug screens required.

Qualifications

• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.

Schedule

• PRN (as needed), part-time hours.
• Flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences.
• Applicants must have some availability Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
• Hours are not guaranteed and depend on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
