UI/UX Developer

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a UI/UX Developer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software for Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch. This role focuses on rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to ground and space-based cyber adversarial threats. The position requires onsite support at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide a portfolio of professional UI/UX design work.
• Hands-on coding and troubleshooting using HTML, CSS, and comparable languages.
• Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
• Develop user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development centers, or profit/non-profit Government support or development contractor roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Software Development, or a STEM-related specialty, plus 3 years of UI/UX Development experience.
• Certifications: SAFe for Teams, Google UX Design, or General Assembly UX Design Immersive.
• Experience with tools and languages: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Design Systems, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with: SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Relevant DoD and/or industry work experience in Space Systems Command is desired.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00, commensurate with experience and technical skillset.
