UI/UX Developer

About the role

We are looking for a UI/UX developer to drive forward the implementation and design of a human‑centered UI. The role involves shaping the user experience and visual design of digital products, conducting user research, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, and ensuring consistency and usability across multiple applications. Collaboration with product managers and developers is essential to implement intuitive solutions that address real user problems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand audience needs and behaviors.
• Translate research insights into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and front‑end components.
• Design cohesive, human‑centered interfaces that maintain a common look and feel across applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and development teams to implement intuitive solutions.
• Apply modern front‑end technologies such as React and Next.js, as well as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Maintain visual consistency through strong grasp of color theory, grid systems, and design systems.
• Participate in usability testing and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in user research, UI design, and wireframing.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands‑on experience with front‑end frameworks such as React and Next.js.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
• Experience conducting usability testing.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Pay

Base pay range: $130,200 — $265,300 USD (applicable to the listed locations).
